Lord of the Flies (1963)

In this episode the Soylent GreenScreen team, with the aid of Sean Fallon from #AudiencesEverywhere.net, venture into uncharted territories with the 1963 adaptation of #WilliamGolding’s #LordOfTheFlies.

Through this discussion, they discuss how much they hated #Piggy, the themes of inhumanity and evil, and the cultural impact of the film. They also compare it to modernist variations such as #ABC’s #Lost and that one time #TheSimpsons did it, as well as trying to find a #SciFi equivalent to determine how well the film holds up, and if it is worth watching.
